Following the White House’s Tuesday posting of a social media video recognizing the “LGBTQI+ Community” and “our kids” who it appeared to claim are a part of it, the 2024 presidential campaign of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Twitter CEO Elon Musk reportedly slammed the Biden administration.

The Biden administration was repeatedly reminded on social media by hundreds of people that their children are not the government’s property in response to the comments.
The DeSantis campaign mirrored that message and stated in a tweet, sharing images from the video, “They are not your kids.”

After hosting a “Pride Celebration” event at the White House on Saturday, Biden and the first lady posted the social media clip. Several transgender activists who attended the event came under fire after a video of them attending the event topless went viral.
