The political action committee (PAC) backing Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ quest for the presidency in 2024 will reportedly run commercials on Thursday morning that criticize former President Donald Trump’s remarks against Republican Governors from Iowa and New Hampshire.
The ninth round of television advertisements for Never Back Down, the PAC backing DeSantis, will air.
The advertisements highlight Trump but also claim that “Joe Biden is destroying America.”
“Joe Biden is destroying America. And instead of looking to America’s future, Trump is busy attacking Republican governors,” the video’s narrator announces.
Each thirty-second commercial focuses on Trump’s remarks on Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu. Along with appearing on Fox News and Newsmax, the advertisements will run in respective states.
The move is reportedly part of a six-figure TV commercial purchase.
Trump and DeSantis are currently concentrated on the two key primary states and have visited New Hampshire and Iowa several times so far.
