On Tuesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will reportedly go to Washington, D.C., as he moves closer to a run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.

DeSantis will attend a policy discussion organized by ‘And to the Republic,’ a political nonprofit that was established in this year and is supporting the governor’s political aspirations, and meet with congressional Republicans.

Reps. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), Darin LaHood (R-Ill.), Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Chip Roy (R-Texas), and Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) are among the politicians who will attend the luncheon.

DeSantis’ conceivable 2024 presidential run has already received the support of Massie and Roy.

The governor’s anticipated trip to Washington, D.C., will add to his already hectic travel itinerary.

He has recently made appearances in a number of states with early voting, including Nevada and Iowa, and on Friday he will visit New Hampshire.

In an effort to further his already strong international credentials, he is also anticipated to visit Israel.
