In a rare public appearance following his father’s exit from the 2024 presidential race, Hunter Biden delivered an unfiltered and deeply personal rebuke of the Democratic Party’s political and media establishment, reserving some of his harshest criticism for liberal elites who, he claims, abandoned President Joe Biden during a moment of national uncertainty.

Speaking to journalist Andrew Callaghan on Channel 5, Hunter Biden did not mince words. His interview, marked by candor and profanity, offered a scathing assessment of figures across the Democratic spectrum — from longtime strategists to Hollywood celebrities — accusing them of sabotaging his father’s legacy for personal gain and political self-preservation.

Hunter’s ire focused particularly on what he called “the intelligentsia of the Democratic Party,” whom he blamed for second-guessing President Biden’s re-election bid in hindsight.

“The Pod Save America saviors,” he said, referring to a group of former Obama staffers turned media figures, are “four white millionaires… living in Beverly [expletive] Hills, telling the rest of the world what black voters in South Carolina really want.”

He continued, taking aim at longtime Democratic fixtures including strategist James Carville — “who hasn’t run a race in 40 [expletive] years” — and David Axelrod, Barack Obama’s former campaign adviser, whom he accused of riding the coattails of Obama’s singular political talent. “David Plouffe, the Pod Save America guys, Anita Dunn… they’ve all made millions off the Democratic Party,” Hunter added. “They’re all going to insert their judgment over a man who figured out, unlike anybody else, how to get elected to the U.S. Senate over seven times.”

The intensity of Hunter’s frustration appears to stem not just from policy differences, but from what he views as personal betrayal — especially by those who once benefitted from the Biden family name.

Among the most notable targets was CNN anchor Jake Tapper and actor George Clooney, both of whom publicly questioned President Biden’s cognitive fitness during the 2024 campaign cycle.

Hunter leveled particularly aggressive comments at Clooney, dismissing him as “not a [expletive] actor… he’s a brand.” Referring to Clooney’s much-discussed op-ed in The New York Times calling on President Biden to drop out of the race, Hunter declared: “What right do you have to step on a man who’s given 52 years of his [expletive] life to the service of this country?”

“F*** him and everybody around him,” Hunter added.

His remarks also highlighted a growing rift within the Democratic Party, where celebrity voices and media narratives increasingly shape political discourse — often at the expense of elected leaders with decades of service.

Hunter Biden framed this internal conflict as a key factor in the Democrats’ electoral struggles, contrasting the left’s internal division with what he called Republican unity.

“At a time in which… what do people care about the most? Why do you think Republicans have an advantage over us? Because they’re unified,” he said.

While critics may view Hunter’s tirade as undisciplined or incendiary, his comments underscore a broader frustration among many Democrats who feel their party has become dominated by media personalities and wealthy elites out of touch with average voters.
