In a brand new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll, it was discovered that far-left Democrat Kamala Harris has surpassed Republican Donald Trump by a margin of 48% to 43%.

In late June, Trump had a roughly four-point lead over President Joe Biden in the survey, and the results indicate an eight-point turnaround in the presidential race.

The margin of error for the survey of 1,000 likely voters, which was conducted via landline and mobile from Sunday to Wednesday, is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

The survey is now measuring likely voters as the election approaches; previous assessments were conducted among registered voters.

Her advantage would be closer to four points than five, 47.6%-43.3%, if the customary rounding of results were not implemented.

Voters aged 18 to 34 transitioned from supporting Trump by 11 points to supporting Harris by 13 points, resulting in a shift from 49% to 36%.

Hispanics, a demographic that the Republican campaign has been actively promoting, transitioned from supporting Trump by two points to supporting Harris by 16 points, with a 53%-37% margin.

Black voters, who have historically been one of the most Democratic-inclined demographics, transitioned from supporting Biden by 47 points to supporting Harris by 64 points, for a difference of 76% to 12%.

According to the survey Harris is also currently supported by 58%-35% of voters with lower incomes.

The former prosecutor and failed presidential candidate has emphasized her alleged dedication to the establishment of a “opportunity economy” that addresses price-gouging in food and increases the affordability of housing, despite the fact that she has not yet disclosed any specific policy proposals on the matter.

Trump and Harris are scheduled to have their first debate on September 10th.
