In the crucial state of Arizona, Vice President Harris is now reportedly leading former President Trump, while new data indicates that Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) is leading GOP opponent Kari Lake by 11 points in the state’s Senate race.

According to the HighGround Public Affairs poll, which was issued on Thursday, Trump received 41.6 percent of the vote while Harris received 44.4 percent, both of which are within the poll’s margin of error.

Arizona, which President Biden barely won in 2020, is considered a crucial swing state in this election.

A little over 5.2% of respondents stated they would vote for a different candidate in November, while 8.8% either declined to comment or did not know.

Additionally, the poll revealed that a higher percentage of Democrats than Republicans said they would back Harris.

Approximately 86% of Democrats declared they would support the vice president at the head of the ticket, while 79% of Republicans indicated they would support the outgoing president.

Gallego received 49.6 percent of the vote, according to the poll, while Lake got roughly 38.6 percent. A little over 9% indicated they were unsure or declined, while 2.6% stated they would vote for a different candidate.

500 Arizonans who are likely to vote were surveyed between July 31 and August 5. There is a 4.38 percentage point margin of error.

Based on ten surveys, The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling average in Arizona indicates that Trump leads Harris by 2.2 points. Based on aggregate data, Gallego leads Lake by 5.9 points.
