The White House has now reportedly announced the results of President Donald Trump’s recent physical examination, revealing that he is in good health overall, aside from bullet scarring on his right ear.
This examination, his first since beginning his second term, was conducted on April 11 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center by Captain Sean Barbella, a physician with expertise in emergency and tactical medicine.
Dr. Barbella stated that the comprehensive exam included diagnostic tests and consultations with fourteen specialists, adhering to U.S. Preventative Services Task Force guidelines.
According to his memo to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Trump exhibited excellent cognitive and physical health, affirming his capability to fulfill the responsibilities of Commander-in-Chief.
At nearly 79 years old, Trump stands 75 inches tall and weighs 224 pounds. His vital signs report a resting heart rate of 62 beats per minute, blood pressure of 128/74 mmHg, and a temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
His eyesight is normal, and he has no significant abnormalities in his head, ears, nose, or throat, apart from the noted gunshot scar. His hearing remains intact, and examinations of his thyroid and lymph nodes were also normal.
In a separate context, speculation about the health of President Joe Biden has circulated throughout his administration, with concerns particularly heightened during his debate performances against Trump.
Records indicated that a Parkinson’s Disease expert visited the White House multiple times, though Biden’s physician confirmed he had not sought additional neurological evaluations outside of routine check-ups.
By contrast, Trump’s health examination underscores his current wellbeing as he navigates the political landscape leading up to the upcoming election.
