Representative Maxine Waters (D-California) asserted on Sunday that supporters of former President Donald Trump were “preparing to resort to violence” if he were to lose his re-election bid in 2024.
Waters even claimed that these individuals were “training in the hills somewhere” and “planning which communities they were going to attack.”
Waters appeared on “The Sunday Show” with MSNBC presenter Jonathan Capehart to discuss Trump’s recent interview with TIME Magazine.
She stated that she intended to inquire about the preparedness of the Justice Department and President Joe Biden regarding acts of violence perpetrated by “right-wing organizations.”
“This is a man who we better be careful about. And I tell you what I’m going to do. I’m going to ask the Justice Department, and I’m going to ask the president to tell us what they’re going to do to protect this country against violence if he loses.” Waters said.

“I want to know about all of those right-wing organizations that he’s connected with, who are training up in the hills somewhere and targeting, you know, what communities they’re going to attack,” she continued.
