This week, both Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump expressed satisfaction with the results of their recent private meeting and reaffirmed their mutual dedication to future political collaboration.

Sunday’s encounter was arranged by real estate broker Steve Witkoff, a close associate of Trump and a person in a relationship with DeSantis, in Miami, Florida. Witkoff attended the meeting as well.

Trump seeks DeSantis’ assistance in fundraising to match the contributions of President Joe Biden.

DeSantis, meanwhile, aspires to regain the level of widespread acclaim he currently enjoys as the prospective leader of the Republican Party in 2028, according to a poll conducted earlier this year.

DeSantis stated in a Thursday interview with Fox News that he and Trump discussed a variety of topics, including the well-being of their families, during their meeting.

“It was just a good meeting and a good conversation. He understands the importance of this election.” DeSantis said

“He understands the damage that Biden is doing, and I think you would see 180 degree different policies if we’re able to win in November, which it’s important that we do,” he concluded.
