From the California Democrat’s camp, Thursday’s tumultuous debate is giving way to outright hostility toward Fox News host Sean Hannity and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
California Govenor Gavin Newsom is now alleging that the debate was somehow ‘rigged’ after turning in a less than stellar performance against his Floridian rival.
But Newsom’s team’s complaints inside the venue merely marked the beginning of the widespread attribution of fault that ensued after the 95-minute brawl that occurred late Thursday night in the Atlanta suburbs.
Further purported infractions pertain to written and comprehended regulations, and they involve the Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis.
According to a DeSantis aide, California first lady Jennifer Siebel Newsom intervened and concluded the debate on her husband’s behalf following Hannity’s invitation for the two governors to continue their overtime discussion.
A second individual on the scene corroborated this.
Additionally, according to Newsom’s staff, Fox and Hannity were prohibited from using multimedia during the debate. They assert that Fox producers confirmed this during the pre-debate walk-through that took place several hours prior to the commencement of the event.
Hannity then proceeded to display a number of graphics, the majority of which depicted unfavorable statistics regarding crime and other problems plaguing California.
The staff of the Florida governor stated that the Democrats were in violation of the regulations. According to another source, a DeSantis aide accused Newsom staff of departing the greenroom, an additional alleged violation.
