Emergency Airlift Undertaken on Orders of Governor DeSantis Rescues 300 Americans From Israel

300 Americans who were stranded in Israel were rescued by an airlift operation Ron DeSantis organized, and they are now expected to land in Florida on Sunday night.

Along with Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis, the Republican presidential nominee will be at Tampa International Airport to greet travelers returning from their trip.

Following the devastating terror assaults by Hamas this weekend that left well over two dozen Americans dead, DeSantis signed an executive order on Thursday allowing the state to carry out rescue and evacuation operations in Israel.

DeSantis criticized President Joe Biden in the executive order for yet another ineffective response to a foreign policy calamity that occurred under his leadership.

“The Biden administration has failed to launch any form of rescue or evacuation operations for Americans, including Floridians, stranded in the region, and has failed to provide information requested by the State of Florida about any plans for such operations,” DeSantis remarked.

On Sunday night, the Florida Division of Emergency Management announced on X that it will help fill the gap left by the Biden administration’s inadequate reaction.

People were encouraged to complete the questionnaire, according to DeSantis Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern.
