Over the weekend, Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis reportedly campaigned in Iowa and attended the Cy-Hawk rivalry game alongside Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds.

Photos from the game between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Iowa State Cyclones depicted DeSantis and Reynolds sitting together roughly a half-hour before and after the game’s start.

Reynolds has not publicly endorsed a Republican presidential candidate, so the pair’s presence at the high-profile event together is noteworthy.

The Hawkeyes triumphed by a score of 20-13.

Former President Donald Trump sat in a box seat and attended the game.

Trump and DeSantis both attended events in Iowa that attracted large crowds and garnered strong support from attendees.
