As part of an international trade trip, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has reportedly now announced he will soon visit Israel, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.

This will provide the likely Republican presidential contender a chance to highlight his experience in foreign affairs.

DeSantis has been actively traveling to US battleground states for speeches and discussions with GOP officials as his presidential campaign is about to officially debut.

The governor is usually seen as the most formidable rival for the GOP nomination against former president Donald Trump.

According to a press release, DeSantis will meet with corporate and political leaders on the trips, including British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

On April 27, DeSantis is scheduled to give the keynote talk at a celebration honoring Israel’s 75th anniversary of independence.

Desantis will deliver a speech in Israel on April 27 at a gala event hosted by The Jerusalem Post and the country’s capital’s Museum of Tolerance.

The governor will be accompanied by his spouse, Casey DeSantis, the first lady, Cord Byrd, and Laura DiBella, the secretary of commerce.

As the state legislative session adjourns in early May, DeSantis is anticipated to declare his campaign for president.

DeSantis has long been one of the Republican Party’s most outspoken supporters of Israel, directing his criticism of Middle Eastern governments against the Palestinians.

The governor of Florida has also enacted legislation that penalizes businesses for supporting boycotts of Israel or its West Bank settlements.
