Donald Trump, the former president, will reportedly have a bond of $200,000, a Georgia judge announced on Monday.
Judge Scott McAfee of the Fulton County Superior Court also imposed release conditions, including as prohibitions on co-defendant or witness intimidation and a requirement not to speak openly with any co-defendant about the details of the case unless through his attorney.
Trump is prohibited from making direct or indirect threats against co-defendants, witnesses, unindicted co-conspirators, or victims, according to the intimidation limitations.
A grand jury accused Trump on August 14 along with 18 more co-defendants, including Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, and Mark Meadows, for his alleged attempts to rig the Georgia 2020 presidential election. He is charged with 13 separate counts.
On the basis of a phone call between Trump and Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger, in which Trump reportedly instructed him to “find” enough votes for him to win in a recount.
District Attorney Fani T. Willis initiated the investigation more than two years ago.
Trump has consistently stated that he will not drop out of the Presidential race even if convicted of a federal crime.
