After being interrupted on Monday at a crowded rally in South Carolina by an apparent left-wing protester, Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis reportedly fired back immediately
The governor of Florida is expected to submit his papers for the first-in-the-South 2024 presidential primary, making him the first Republican contender to do so.

At the Philip T. Glennon Community Center in Tega Cay, South Carolina, DeSantis was addressing a wealthy audience when he was stopped.
“I have something to say to him: ‘Why don’t you focus on spending more time with your granddaughter in Arkansas, or at least acknowledge she exists, before you worry about our children?’” DeSantis said about Biden.
Then an LGBT activist unfurled a pride flag and began yelling at the governor as DeSantis spoke.
Security rushed in to address the situation as DeSantis chose to confront the individual, saying: “And they shouldn’t be worried about our children, either!”
According to the local fire marshal, some 900 people attended the event to hear DeSantis speak inside the chamber. The population of Tega Cay is around 12,000 people.
