Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a prominent figure in the Republican Party, has now reportedly called for the dismissal of Fox News host Mark Levin following his critical comments about her stance on U.S. military involvement in Iran.

Greene described Levin’s remarks as “extremely sick and disturbing,” escalating a feud that has highlighted divisions within the GOP regarding foreign policy.

The conflict erupted after Levin referred to Greene as “stupid” in a tweet, criticizing her opposition to military intervention in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.

Greene, aligning herself with MAGA allies such as Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon, has been vocal against U.S. involvement, while Levin and other Fox News personalities, including Sean Hannity, have advocated for a more interventionist approach.

In an interview on OAN’s “The Matt Gaetz Show,” Greene expressed her discontent with Levin’s comments, suggesting that Fox News should “reel” him in.

She accused the network of being “unprofessional” and acting as “propaganda.” Levin, in response, doubled down, stating, “Thankfully, POTUS ignored you and hit the Iranian nuclear sites,” underscoring his support for President Trump’s military actions.

Greene fired back, stating that Levin’s tone mirrored that of individuals who send her death threats, calling for his termination from Fox News. In a lengthy response, she invoked a biblical reference about praying for one’s enemies, adding, “Shame on Fox if they condone this.”

The exchange reflects a broader debate within the Republican ranks over foreign policy and military engagement, particularly regarding Iran.

Greene pointed to historical figures like President John F. Kennedy, who opposed Israel’s nuclear program, suggesting that she advocates for peace rather than conflict. “I oppose war, including wars Israel wages,” she stated.

As tensions rise in the Middle East, Greene’s vocal opposition to military intervention contrasts sharply with the views of other conservative leaders who see a strong military response as essential to national security.

The back-and-forth between Greene and Levin not only underscores personal animosities but also highlights the ideological rifts that continue to shape the Republican Party’s approach to foreign policy.

In the wake of this controversy, Fox News faces scrutiny over how it manages its diverse array of voices and the implications of its hosts’ comments on the broader political landscape.

Greene’s insistence on Levin’s firing raises questions about accountability and the network’s role in shaping public discourse around critical issues.
