During AmericaFest hosted by Turning Point USA, former Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson criticized the allies of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, labeling “those who represent him online” as the “most vile, ignorant, and zero-sum individuals” he has ever encountered.
Tuesday, one of those individuals—the Republican presidential candidate’s director of rapid response, Christina Pushaw—appeared to respond negatively to the hostile comment from Carlson.
Hearing that some people find the rhetoric from DeSantis spokespeople vile and appalling. I guess we should do better and rise to the refined level of Team Trump, by calling opponents’ wives the c-word and accusing cancer survivors of faking it.

A DeSantis campaign spokesperson declined to comment in response to a request for commentary regarding Carlson’s statements.
Tucker is upset when DeSantis supporters are mean to Trump, but silent when actual Trump surrogates* like Roger Stone call Casey DeSantis a cunt or when Laura Looser said she faked cancer. Unreal.

Carlson has been linked publicly to former President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, and his name has been mentioned as a potential vice presidential candidate, notwithstanding the disclosure that he and other Fox presenters had privately disparaged Trump throughout the 2020 election cycle.
On Monday, Tucker Carlson did state that he admired DeSantis, but not his people.
