President Biden leads former President Trump by two points in Wisconsin, according to a recent Marquette Law School Poll, although he lags behind other GOP contenders including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
According to the poll, which was released on Wednesday, 50% of Wisconsin voters indicated they would support Biden, while 48% said they would vote for Trump.
Fifty percent of Wisconsin voters indicated they would vote for the governor of the Sunshine State in a fictitious Biden-DeSantis contest, while forty-eight percent said they would vote for Biden.
Wisconsin respondents were most supportive of Haley, the former US ambassador to the UN, out of the three Republican contenders for president who might run against Biden.
According to the poll, 53% of state respondents said they would support Haley, and 44% of state respondents said they would favor Biden.
When asked what their thoughts were on Biden, 42% of Wisconsin voters who responded to the study said they thought favorably of him, while 56% said they didn’t.
As an illustration, 37% of respondents thought favorably of Trump, 37% thought favorably of DeSantis, and 31% thought well of Haley.
DeSantis and Haley participated in the third GOP primary debate for 2024 on Wednesday night in Miami along with three other contenders.
Additionally, it was Trump’s third absence from a primary in as many months.
908 people participated in the Marquette Law School Poll, which was conducted from October 26 to November 2.
There was a 4.5 percentage point margin of error in the poll.
