Sunshine State Alongside Governor Chris Sununu, Gov. Ron DeSantis spent the day on the campaign trail in New Hampshire on Tuesday.
Although he hasn’t endorsed yet in the Republican contest, the governor of New Hampshire expressed great admiration for his Florida counterpart.
DeSantis welcomed patrons in Londonderry’s Red Arrow Diner for breakfast, went by Popovers in Epping for lunch, then, after a little detour across the parking lot, made a visit at the Beach Plum to try his son Mason’s ice cream.
“That’s why you show up. That’s why you deliver the message and talk about the successes we’ve had in Florida and talk about how you parlay that into turning this country around. Because I think Republicans, independents, even a lot of Democrats now, they know the country is on the skids.” DeSantis said.
DeSantis stated that he is trying to establish a connection with independent voters in a new interview.
Sununu stated that he continues to think that former President Donald Trump’s advantage in the GOP primary is not assured.
According to DeSantis, he will carry out that task in New Hampshire in order to win over voters.
“That’s not the way it rolls here in New Hampshire. Everything is still up for grabs. And, you know, he who works the hardest will get the win.” Sununu remarked.
