Warnings and criticisms have reportedly been issued by pro-life organizations and activists in response to the executive order that President Donald Trump signed on Monday to extend access to in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Concern has been raised by religious and pro-life Americans who have moral issues to in vitro fertilization (IVF), particularly because of the number of embryos that are lost throughout the process of IVF. This is because IVF is a popular but controversial form of fertility preservation.

It was on Monday that Lila Rose, an activist for the protection of human life and the founder of LiveAction, responded to the decision by saying that “IVF is NOT pro-life.”

Despite the fact that Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America has expressed concern that rules should be implemented for in vitro fertilization (IVF), the organization has stated that it does not “object to ethical fertility treatments.”

Rachel Campos-Duffy, a co-host on Fox News whose husband is employed by the Trump administration, said that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and President Trump should instead conduct an investigation into the “root causes” of the reproductive issue.

It would appear that the Trump administration is willing to consider laws regarding in vitro fertilization (IVF) that are supported by pro-life organizations and possible religious exemptions.

When it comes to a potential mandate that would require insurance companies to cover the expenses of in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, President Trump gave the impression in October that he was willing to consider religious exemptions in the matter.
