After suffering his most recent fall, former Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) is reportedly “fine” and is utilizing a wheelchair to tour the corridors of the United States Capitol on Wednesday.

This is a “precautionary measure” related to his fall.

In the grand scheme of things, McConnell has experienced a number of health concerns over the course of the previous few years, including a fall in December that necessitated medical staff at the Capitol to attend to him despite the fact that he was freezing in front of reporters.

According to various accounts on X, McConnell collapsed as he was leaving the Senate chamber after a vote that took place at noon on Wednesday.

He was able to get back up with the assistance of security and senators who were close.

According to a person who is acquainted with the situation, McConnell was later “using a wheelchair purely as a precautionary measure.”

The upper left leg of McConnell was briefly crippled as a result of a polio attack that occurred in 1944, when he was only two generations old.
