On Wednesday, President Donald Trump reportedly issued an executive order that prohibits the use of federal financing for schools that teach “radical, anti-American ideologies.”
These ideologies include Critical Race Theory and gender ideology.
Rather than providing their children with a challenging education and to build a patriotic admiration for our magnificent nation and the ideals for which we stand, the order stated that parents had witnessed schools “indoctrinate” their children over the course of the past several years.
“In many cases, innocent children are compelled to adopt identities as either victims or oppressors solely based on their skin color and other immutable characteristics. In other instances, young men and women are made to question whether they were born in the wrong body and whether to view their parents and their reality as enemies to be blamed.” the order stated.
“These practices not only erode critical thinking but also sow division, confusion, and distrust, which undermine the very foundations of personal identity and family unity,” it continued.
The order provides the Secretary of Education with a period of ninety days to produce a plan that will preserve parental rights while also eliminating federal funding and support for illegal and discriminatory treatment and indoctrination in K-12 schools.
This includes indoctrination that is based on gender ideology and discriminatory equity ideology.
According to the decree, the ideas are prohibited from being included in the curriculum, as well as in the training and licensing of teachers.
This ruling issued a warning that it may be in violation of various federal laws to encourage students to engage in surgical and chemical mutilation without the agreement of their parents or to permit males to access the restrooms reserved for females.
The administration’s efforts to eliminate gender ideology from public schools are likely to be met with legal challenges from individuals who advocate for different gender ideologies.
During his first week and a half in office, President Trump has issued a number of executive orders that are directed at gender ideology.
These orders include one that recognizes the existence of two sexes and another that prohibits the use of federal funds for the medicalization of transgender children.
