Dinesh D’Souza, the renowed right-wing filmmaker who is most well known for his famous documentaries, declared on Christmas that “there are good and bad Indians.”
He also clarified that he is “obviously one of the good ones.”
The remarks came in the wake of a new controversy among Trump supporters over whether or not the incoming administration should expand H-1B visas for ‘high-skilled’ indian migrants.

Sriram Krishnan was appointed as the senior White House policy advisor on artificial intelligence by President-elect Donald Trump, and D’Souza made his declaration mere days later.
Krishnan’s promotion provoked a response from the extreme right, which has criticized him for his immigration policies and ethnicity.
In a post on X Wednesday, D’Souza defended Krishnan on social media.
