Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, is now trying to claim that he has “no personal relationship” with an extremist imam who pushed a pro-Hitler film, although he once referred to him as a “master teacher” in a newly unearthed video when discussing him.
Walz’s meetings with Asad Zaman, executive director of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, have come under scrutiny in recent days due to Zaman’s support for Hamas and what appears to be blatant anti-Semitism, as evidenced by his sharing of the terrorist group’s press releases and a link to the website for Adolf Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told, a neo-Nazi propaganda film.
On the day of Hamas’ onslaught on Israel last October 7, Zaman overlooked the murder, rape, and kidnapping of innocent Israelis, saying that his organization stood “in solidarity with Palestinians against Israeli attacks.”
The Harris campaign has previously attempted to deny or downplay Walz’s past relationship with the radical imam.
However, a new video obtained by The Washington Examiner reportedly calls into question the accuracy of the Harris campaign’s previous assertions regarding the issue.
EXCLUSIVE: Tim Walz—in footage unearthed by @dcexaminer—called Hitler-promoting imam Asad Zaman a “master teacher” who offered Walz lessons over the time they “spent together"

On the campaign trail in 2018, Walz attended an event held by the Muslim American Society and lavished praise on Zaman.
“I would like to first of all say thank you to imam. I am a teacher, so when I see a master teacher, I know it. And over the time we’ve spent together, one of the things I’ve had the privilege of is seeing the things in life through the eye of a master teacher, to try and get the understanding,” Walz can be seen saying in the video
