Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded to President Joe Biden’s decision to terminate his re-election campaign by disparaging Vice President Kamala Harris, who is being endorsed by a significant number of Democrats as the new Democratic nominee.
“Kamala Harris was complicit in a massive coverup to hide and deny the fact that Joe Biden was not capable of discharging his duties of the office. She also was the border czar during the worst border crisis in American history.” DeSantis wrote in a post on X.

“Democrats are just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic,” he continued.
DeSantis, who was previously a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, expressed his desire for Biden to remain in the contest last week.
DeSantis endorsed Donald Trump and suspended his presidential campaign prior to the New Hampshire primary, as he was unable to establish any momentum.
