Team DeSantis is now widening its offensive against former UN ambassador Nikki Haley.
Nikki Haley, a former U.N. ambassador, has been arguing with Ron DeSantis, a Florida governor and rival for the 2024 presidential election, about how the United States ought to react to what the U.N. refers to as a “humanitarian crisis” in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.
The DeSantis camp recently took aim at Haley for what it claimed were past statements Haley made which suggested she was open to taking in refugees from Gaza as a result of the ongoing Israeli conflict there.
Haley has since denied she made such statements.
Now the DeSantis is taking aim at the former South Carolina Governor’s record on China in a new ad.
The campaign pointed to allegations that gave sweet heart deals with business entities tied to the Chinese Communist party as well as an instance when she referred to China as a ‘great friend of ours.’
