Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was reportedly reprimanded by Jonathan Greenblatt, the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) CEO, for her criticism of Israel’s decision to conduct military operations in the West Bank city of Jenin.
They fought on Twitter on Monday when Tlaib, a Palestinian American and member of the House’s socialist “Squad,” responded to video footage that appeared to show an Israeli bulldozer demolishing a street in the Jenin refugee camp that was broadcast by Al Jazeera English.
According to Palestinian officials, road devastation has made it more difficult for ambulances to transport injured patients, according to a report from Al Jazeera English.
Israeli forces are now blocking ambulances from reaching the dozens of wounded Palestinians after at least eight people were killed in Jenin.

As a response, Greenblatt charged Tlaib with spreading untruths and reaffirmed what the Israeli Defense Force had claimed about the operation, namely that the IDF was attacking “terrorist infrastructure” while carrying out a counterterrorism operation nearby.

Former Obama White House aide Greenblatt has previously blasted Tlaib for her anti-Israel statements.
