In an interview this week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reportedly laughed off criticism from a few critics aligned with some of his political rivals who claim that he does not have enough of a personality to be the next President of the United States. These critics claim that he does not have enough of a personality to be the next President of the United States.

These comments were delivered by DeSantis during an interview with Piers Morgan that was conducted on Thursday evening and shown on Fox Nation.

According to Morgan, one of the reviewers of DeSantis’ book stated that the candidate would go into any charm offensive “unarmed.”

“Well, I appreciate the knocks on the book, it’s the number one book in America far and away. I’ve sold more than any non-president in the history of the country in terms of the first week, so we’ve been doing pretty good, a lot of people like it.” DeSantis responded.

DeSantis then responded to the criticisms that had been leveled against him by members of the political opposition.

He stated that these individuals were upset with him because he does not concentrate on being a member of the social clubs that are frequented by political elites.

Instead, he concentrates on doing his job and then going home to be with his family.

“So here’s the thing, I think these are people who are in the political class, journalist class, politicians in, like, D.C. in particular, they get mad I don’t do the cocktail parties. I don’t like rubbing elbows with other people. I like doing my job and then spending time with my family. That’s just what I do.” DeSantis stated.

“A lot of the people that are criticizing, you know, they would say, ‘Oh, he doesn’t do well with donors. He doesn’t glad hand with them.’ And yet I raise more money than any non-presidential candidate in the history of America! Are you kidding me?” he continued.
